ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 14.03.2022 for issuing patta for his property in survey No. 59/2 measuring about 0.09.081.0 Sq.mt., situated at Thiruthiyamalai Village, Musiri Taluk, Trichy District.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that the petitioner is the owner of the petition mentioned property, which is an ancestral property. He got right over the same by way of partition among his brothers. He constructed a house in the said property. He applied seeking patta before the respondents. The same rejected on the ground that the land, to which the petitioner sought patta, is a Government Poromboke land.

3. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that representation of the petitioner dated 14.03.2022 has been considered and rejected. He further submitted that the land, to which the petitioner seeks patta, is classified as Government poromboke land and patta as required by the petitioner cannot be granted.

4.In view of the above submission, nothing remains for further 2/4

consideration in this writ petition. Accordingly, this writ petition is closed. It is needless to mention here that the petitioner is at liberty to challenge the rejection order, if he is so advised.
