O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents Police not to harass the petitioner on a complaint given by the respondent No.4.
2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner was previously working in Jeevan property Promoters and Jeeven land Developers Company and the said Company is stated to have committed some irregularities and on a complaint given by one of the sufferers, a case has been registered in Crime No.1 of 2019 against the Directors and the case is still pending. The petitioner, who is no way connected with the activities of the said Company, is being harassed by the respondent No.4, who is one of the investors in the Company.
3. Mr.Saravanan Kumar, learned counsel representing the learned counsel appearing for the respondent No.4, submits that he would file counter in this petition.
4. This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction against the respondents Police and not against the respondent No.4 and therefore, the time requested by the respondent No.4 is declined. 2/5
5. The learned Government Advocate (criminal side) appearing for the official respondents submits that the representation given by the respondent No.4 is received and the same is registered as current paper and the same is enquired into and the enquiry will be completed within a short time.
6. Considering the submissions made by both sides, since the representation has been received by the respondents Police from the respondent No.4, the respondents 1 and 2 Police are directed to complete the enquiry in the said petition by following the due process and dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
