ORDER

The prayer in the writ petition is seeking for a Mandamus to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to remove the blockage in S.Nos.781, 293/4F, 293/4E, 293/4C and 293/4B at Vaathiramedu, Mandaiyur Village and Post, Kulathoor Taluk, 2.When the writ petition was taken up for hearing today, the second respondent, by his communication in Na.Ka.A1/8262/2019 dated 18.12.2022, had 2/5

instructed the learned Government Advocate that the obstruction as prayed for in the writ petition has been inspected and that in the present, there is no encroachment or obstruction and the property remains to be as a public pathway being enjoyed by the public in general. The same is taken on record. 3.In view of the report submitted by the second respondent, the prayer in the writ petition becomes infructuous. However, if any obstruction is made to the public pathway in future, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the official respondents herein as well as the police authorities complaining of such obstruction and as and when such representation is received, the authority concerned shall take immediate action on the same. 4.With the above direction, the Writ Petition is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
