ORDER
This writ petition is filed for issuing a Writ of Mandamus, to direct the 2nd respondent to conduct proper enquiry and peruse the records for transfer patta name as Vanarani instead of Pitchai on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 23.10.2017, within the time stipulated by this Court.
2.The petitioner states that she has purchased a property measuring an extent about 156 sq. meters of land in S.No.56/13, in Keeranur Village, Kadavur Union and Taluk in Karur District. Since the property has been purchased by the petitioner and patta was previously stood in the name of the petitioner's vendor, it is stated that the Tahsildar is under a legal obligation to transfer the patta in favour of the purchaser namely the petitioner on the basis of the sale deed. In this regard, the petitioner has made a representation on 23.10.2017.

W.P.(MD).No.12210 of 2018 petitioner will be satisfied if a direction is issued to the Tahsildar concerned to consider the petitioner's representation for transfer of patta on merits within the time stipulated by this Court.
4.Having regard to the limited scope of the prayer that is now sought before this Court by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation, this Court is inclined to issue the following direction.
The second respondent, Tahsildar is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 23.10.2017 and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law after holding an enquiry and perusal of records and after giving an opportunity to the petitioner or any one who is found to have interest during the course of enquiry. The second respondent is directed the pass an order within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5.With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
