This Criminal Original petition has been filed to withdraw the investigation in connection with Crime No. 56 of 2019 on the file of the 2nd respondent police and transfer the same to any other agency in Madurai District under the supervision of the 1st respondent for effective investigation in the manner known to law

2. It is seen that a case has been registered in Crime No. 56 of 2019 for the offence under Section 174 (3) Cr.P.C and the respondent police is yet to receive report from the Revenue Divisional Officer in respect of enquiry conducted by them with the accused persons.

3. Considering the above facts and circumstances of the case, at this stage transfer of investigation cannot be considered, which would affect the entire investigation. Hence the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. However the second respondent is directed to complete the investigation and file final report before the concerned court within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further the first respondent is directed to monitor the investigation done by the second respondent and also ensure that the second respondent shall complete the investigation as directed by this Court.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
