Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records relating to the impugned order passed by the third respondent in his proceedings No.6062/E2/2013 dated 27.02.2014 insofar as appointment of the fourth respondent as a Pharmacist is concerned and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the respondents to appoint the petitioner as Pharmacist taking into account of the petitioner's qualification within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER
The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 and 3 relying on the counter affidavit filed by the third respondent states that steering committee in its letter dated 14.11.2013 have recommended to cancel all the temporary appointments, including that of the fourth respondent and accordingly, in proceeding dated 30.04.2014, the appointment of the fourth respondent was cancelled on administrative grounds. 2.In view of the fact that the appointment of the fourth respondent, which is under challenge in the present Writ Petition, was already cancelled by the third respondent, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised in the present Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
