ORDER

The petitioner has approached this court with a grievance that the respondent police are harassing the petitioner under the guise of an enquiry. 1/4

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that one Palaniyammal and others have taken his auto on the money dispute between the 3rd respondent and them, and on his complaint to the respondent police, they handed over his auto to the respondent police. However the respondent police are harassing him under the guise of an enquiry. 3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl Side) submits that one Palaniyammal has lodged a complaint against this petitioner and respondent No.3 that they have borrowed money from Women Self Help Groups and has not repaid. The said complaint is treated in CSR No.526 of 2025 dated 20.07.2025. Further they have handed over the auto of the petitioner to the respondent police and subsequently it has been handed over to the petitioner. 4.This court considered the rival submissions made. 5.

It appears to be a money transaction. The respondent police ought not to have interfered in the money dispute. Even according to the respondent police, the said Palaniammal and others have illegally taken the auto of the petitioner and handed over the same to the respondent police.

under what circumstances this auto has been taken by Palaniammal and others and ought to have registered a case for the offence of theft. Therefore, this petition is closed with a direction the respondent police not to interfere with the money dispute and also take appropriate action as against the said Palaniammal and others for illegally taking the auto of the petitioner without any authority.
