ORDER

The matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal' today. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that despite his best efforts he is unable to contact his client. The first counsel on record is also no more. On the last hearing date itself, in the absence of the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court recorded the fact that the prayer sought for in this writ petition may now have become infructuous.

2.In this writ petition a Mandamus has been sought for to direct the third and second respondents to release the Tractor https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

W.P(MD).No.4774 of 2014 bearing Registration No. TN-60-X-4007 to the petitioner on the basis of the petitioner's representation, dated 14.03.2014, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. By now, the Tractor, which is the subject matter of the writ petition after lapse of almost six years may have got condemned. Further the petitioner if he was interested in the said Tractor, he would have certainly approached his lawyer for prosecuting this writ petition. It can now be inferred that the petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition as he has not contacted his lawyer.

3.Accordingly, this writ petition is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
