The present writ petition has been filed for a Mandamus, directing the District Collector to initiate action as against the 3rd respondent herein, who was the Panchayat President at that point of time.

2. The tenure of the 3rd respondent as Panchayat President had expired. Hence, nothing survives to be adjudicated in the present writ petition.

3. In view of the above said fact, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
