ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents to pay compensation for the subject property acquired for extension of National Highways by considering the representation dated 12.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5 and Mr.Su.Srinivasan, learned Standing Counsel takes notice for the 6th respondent.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. According to the petitioner, the subject property situated in Survey No.452/4A to an extent of 0.19.70 Hectares (1970 Sq Meters) at Muthuvenkatrayapuram, Srivilliputhur Taluk, Virudhunagar District was acquired by the respondent for laying National Highway Road. However, 3/6

till date no compensation has been paid to the petitioner, inspite of several representations. Therefore, the petitioner has come before this Court.

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 5 would submit that the application submitted by the petitioner is under consideration of the 3rd respondent.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the 3rd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 12.06.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
