ORDER

The petitioners herein seeks a direction to the respondents to survey the property situated in Sy.No.8655/1 and Sy.No.8655/3, Pudukkottai Town and Pudukottai Taluk by considering his application dated 10.06.2025.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and Mrs.K.Malathi, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents.

3. By consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission itself.

4. The petitioners herein claims right over the subject property under a registered partition deed dated 25.06.2019. The Town Survey Land Register (TSLR) also stands in the name of the petitioner. He submitted an application on 10.06.2025 in A.No.2025/0178/22/000080, seeking survey of the subject property and the same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioners have come before this Court. 2/4

5. The learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents would submit that the application submitted by the petitioners dated 10.06.2025 will be considered within the time stipulated by this Court.

6. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioners dated 10.06.2025 and pass final order on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after issuing notice to the petitioners, neighboring land owners and other interested parties.

7. The writ petition is disposed of with the above observations. No costs.
