O R D E R

[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 to 3, not to put up the Brandi Shop in Shop No.6739 situated at Marakkadai Corner, Alangudi Town, Pudukkottai District, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 30.05.2018.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate, on instructions, would submit that the proposal to open the TASMAC Shop in the petition mentioned place, was sent to the first respondent. Subsequently, based on the order passed by the first respondent, the shop was opened on 11.07.2018. He would further submit that there is no restriction to open the shop in the said place, as per G.O.Ms.No.32, Home, Prohibition & Excise(VI) Department, dated 21.05.2018. However, the petitioner has not challenged the said Government Order.

3. In the light of the above, we are of the view that the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. Hence, this writ petition is dismissed. No Costs.
