Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 to 4 to grant protection to the petitioner of Sarode, Kalkulam Village, Thuckalay, Kanyakumari District to participate in the Sri Balakrishna Esakkiamman Temple Festival on 27.03.2014 and to offer Poojas and rituals to the Deity. ORDER

The prayer sought for in this Writ Petition has now become infructuous in view of the fact that the relief sought for by the petitioner pertains to a temple festival on 27.03.2014. Since, we are now in the year 2022, nothing survives for further adjudication.

2. Recording the same, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition stands closed.
