Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to provide employment to the petitioner on compassionate ground, by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 19.12.2024 within the stipulated time fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed by the wife of a deceased employee of the respondent TANGEDCO seeking a Mandamus to provide employment on compassionate grounds by considering her representation.

2. From the records, it could be found that the petitioner's husband was working as a Gangmen and he had passed away while in service on 04.09.2024. The petitioner has given a representation on 19.12.2024 to the first respondent seeking employment on compassionate grounds. So far her representation has not been processed. Hence, the present writ petition. 2/5

3. Considering the above said facts, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 19.12.2024 and pass orders, within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above directions, this writ petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
