PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorari, calling for the records of the first and second respondents in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.524/2015/A3, dated 30.06.2015 and Na.Ka.No.0524/2015/A3, dated 22.07.2015 and quash the same as illegal.

As against the show cause notice issued by the District Collector/Inspector of Panchayat in Na.Ka.No.524/2015/A3, dated 30.06.2015 and the subsequent proceedings in Na.Ka.No. 0524/2015/A3, dated 22.07.2015, taking away the cheque signing power of the petitioner/Vice President of Kavalipatti Village is under challenge in this writ petition.

2.The petitioner has served as a Vice President of Kavalipatti Village during the period from 2012 to 2016. Since the 2/4

elected period itself is over, this writ petition is closed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
