The petitioners herein are arrayed as Accused Nos.1 and 2 in Crime No.503 of 2013, dated 03.09.2013, on the file of the Thirumangalam Town Police Station, Thirumangalam Taluk, Madurai District, have filed this petition to quash the First Information Report.

2. Today i.e., (03.03.2020), it is reported by the learned Government Advocate (Criminal side) appearing for the State that based on the complaint given by one M.Nagarajan, the above case was registered and investigated by the first respondent Police. The final report filed on completion of investigation was taken cognizance by the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam in C.C.No.295 of 2011 and the same ended in acquittal on 15.03.2013, after full-fledged trial.

3. In view of the above fact, nothing survives for further adjudication in this Criminal Original Petition and the same stands dismissed. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
