ORDER

The revision petitioner is the landlord. He filed a petition in R.C.O.P.No.62 of 2018 before the Rent Controller, Tiruchirappalli, seeking an order of eviction as against the respondent herein, on the ground of willful default in paying the rent. He also filed I.A.No.1 of 2019 before the Rent Controller, Tiruchirappalli, seeking a direction to the tenant to pay arrears of rent.

2. It is the grievance of the revision petitioner is that though he filed RCOP No.62 of 2018 in the month of July 2018 and the respondent herein filed his counter in the said proceedings, the same has not been disposed of till date and the same is pending for the past one year. Furthermore, he also filed an interlocutory application in the month of March 2019, that application has also not been disposed of till date. Hence, he seeks a direction of this Court for early disposal of I.A.No.1 of 2018 and R.C.O.P.No.62 of 2018.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the revision petitioner submits that the revision petitioner is a senior citizen. The learned counsel further submits that as per the Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007 Tamil Nadu Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts/Rules 2007, RCOP No.62 of 2018 and I.A.No.1 of 2018 should be disposed of within a period of nine months. But, the same has not been disposed of till date.

Considering the fact that the revision petitioner is a senior citizen and also in view of Judicial Notification No.C-5 CAS/2007 Tamil Nadu Case Flow Management in Subordinate Courts/Rules 2007, the learned Rent Controller, Tiruchirappalli, is directed to dispose of I.A.No.1 of 2018 and R.C.O.P.No.62 of 2018, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above direction, the Civil Revision Petition is disposed of. No costs.
