When the case came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that investigation had been completed and final report was laid before the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Tuticorin. The learned Judicial Magistrate-II, Tuticorin, had taken cognizance for the offence under Sections 294(b), 323 and 506(2) IPC and Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 1998. The case was taken on file as C.C.No.149 of 2022. The case is posted to 22.11.2022 for appearance of the accused. 2.In the light of the submissions of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
