[Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble The ACTING CHIEF JUSTICE] This Writ Petition has been filed seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider online application TN 5202206174739, dated 17.06.2022 and issue Community Certificate to the petitioner's daughter, namely, T.Bhavana belongs to Bandi Community, based on the community certificate issued to the petitioner within the time stipulated by this Court.

2.Mr.M.Sarangan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents by producing a copy of the Transfer Certificate issued by the Guruvappa Higher Secondary School, Neikkarapatti to the petitioner, submitted

that the petitioner himself has given his religion and community as 'Hindu Bandipoyan' and thereafter, changed the same as 'Hindu Bandi' and the same has been recorded in the school records, however, on enquiry, it was found that he only belongs to 'Hindu Poyar' and not 'Hindu Bandi'. Therefore, the application of the petitioner has been rejected by the 2nd respondent vide proceedings dated 08.01.2023 and the same has also been served on the petitioner. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this Writ Petition is closed.
