This Writ Petition has been filed in the nature of Mandamus seeking a direction against the respondents 1 to 6 to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 17.03.2014 and further to direct them to take appropriate actions against the respondents 7 to 13 by giving sufficient protection to the petitioner and to his family. 2.Heard Mr.S.Manohar, learned Counsel for the petitioner, Mr.S.Kameswaran, learned Additional Government Pleader for R1 to R6 and Mr.Arjun, learned Counsel for R7 to R10, R12 and R14. 3.As a matter of fact, in the representation given by the petitioner, the petitioner had sought that necessary action should be taken against the respondents 7 to 13. I am confident that in the interregnum period, in which the Writ Petition has been kept pending for the past seven years, the law and order problem, which has been envisaged by the petitioner, would have come to a natural death and the parties would have certainly decided that it is no longer appropriate or advantageous to them to continue further the issue raised in the present Writ Petition.

4.This Writ Petition relates to a temple Sri Valagurunathaswamy Temple. Let the Deity be in peace and let Deity Bless the petitioner and the respondents to also remain in peace. If at all, either of the parties have a cause as on date, they may approach the appropriate authority/Court seeking reliefs. The Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
