Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent ie., the Secretary to Government, Revenue Department, Chennai to pass appropriate orders on the proposals sent by the second respondent ie., the Commissioner of Revenue Administration, Chennai in his Na.Ka.No.Ser.3(3)/47356/2009, dated 08.10.2013 regarding revision of seniority according to carried over vacancies in the list of Deputy Tahsildhars within a specified time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to direct the first respondent to pass appropriate orders for re-fixation of the writ petitioner's seniority. 2.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner attained the age of superannuation and subsequently, passed away. 3.This being the factum of the case, no further adjudication needs to be entertained in respect of the grounds raised for refixation of seniority. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
