Heard the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent.

2. The petitioner wants this Court to direct the first respondent to take the application under Section 4(2) r/w. 5(2) of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Lands Record of Tenancy Rights Act 1969 on file.

3. The learned Additional Government Pleader submits that no formal application was received. Of course, the postal receipt has been enclosed.

4. I therefore permit the petitioner to approach the first respondent in person and submit the application. If the same is in order, the first respondent shall number the same and take it on file. If the same is not in order, the same will be returned with proper endorsement.
