JUDGMENT

(Judgment of the Court was made by G.R.SWAMINATHAN, J.) Heard both sides.

2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the HR & CE Department states that in view of non-resolution of the dispute among the various groups, the temple festival was not conducted this year.

3. The learned single Judge had only called upon the appellant to move the Joint Commissioner, HR & CE Department, Pudukkottai District for resolving the issue raised by him. This direction cannot be faulted. If the appellant files any petition under Section 63(e) of Tamil Nadu HR & CE Act, 1959, it shall be taken on file immediately and disposed of on merits and in accordance with law within a period of eight weeks. We have not gone into the merits of the matter. 3/6

4. The Writ Appeal is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. (G.R.S., J.)
