NO.50 of 2017. DECREE:- This Civil Miscellaneous Appeal having come up for final hearing on this date, upon perusing the grounds of Appeal, the order of the Tribunal and the material papers to the Appeal and upon hearing the arguments of MR. K. SUDALAIYANDI, Advocate for the Appellant and of MR. V. SASI KUMAR, Advocate for the 1st respondent, this Court doth order and decree as follows:-

(1) That the award passed by the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, (Subordinate Judge), Aruppukottai, dated 26/06/2020 passed in MCOP. NO.50 of 2017 be and is hereby confirmed and the Civil Miscellaneous Appeal is dismissed.

(2) That the Appellant/National Insurance Company is directed to deposit the entire compensation awarded by the Tribunal i.e., R.14,70,800/- together with interest at the rate of 7.5% per annum if not already deposited) to the credit of MCOP. NO.50 of 2017, dated 26/06/2020, on the file of the Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, (Subordinate Judge), Aruppukottai, within a period of eight weeks https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2

(3) That on such deposit being made, by the appellant, the first respondent/claimant is permitted to withdraw the same immediately, in the manner known to law.
