PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned demand notice in Letter No.R5/7480/97/Relief GO 115/2013, dated 05.07.2013, on the file of the third respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently to direct the third respondnet to issue sale deed to the petitioner for his allotted ready built house No.MIG B-19, TNHB Colony, Sankaraperi, Thoothukudi, on payment of difference in land cost without any interest. The petitioner had challenged the demand notice of the Housing Board and difference in land cost along with interest.

2. Pending this writ petition, the writ petitioner had passed away and his son had settled the amount to the Housing Board and had also been issued with a sale deed.

3. In view of the subsequent development, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition. The writ petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions stand closed.
