PRAYER: This petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents herein to provide police protection to the temple festival of Purattasi Last Saturday scheduled to be held on 12.10.2019 in the petitioner temple A/m.Sri Pitchampatti Kamba Perumal Thirukovil, Pitchampatti, Aundipatti Bit-I, Aundipatti Taluk, Theni District on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 05.09.2019. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed sought for a direction to the respondents to provide police protection to the temple festival of Purattasi Last Saturday scheduled to be held on 12.10.2019 in the petitioner temple A/m.Sri Pitchampatti Kamba Perumal Thirukovil, Pitchampatti, Aundipatti Bit-I, Aundipatti Taluk, Theni District on the basis of the petitioner representation dated 05.09.2019.

2. Heard Mr.K. Appadurai, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.K. Suyambulinga Bharathi, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) appearing for the respondents.
