O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for transfer of investigation in Crime No.178 of 2023 from the file of the second respondent to any other Agency.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, on instructions, submits that the investigation is now being conducted by the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Manamadurai.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that his grand son is studying in the American College, Madurai and on the date of occurrence, he was attending the class and therefore, he requests to conduct the investigation in this aspect also. It is further submitted that the other accused are also not present in the scene of occurrence.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court directs the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Manamadurai, to conduct investigation as requested by the petitioner by collecting materials.
