ORDER

This Civil Revision Petition is filed challenging the Lok Adalat order passed in Lok Adalat case No.23 of 2025 in M.C.O.P.No.102 of 2024 on the file of the Lok Adalat (Chief Judicial Magistrate), District Court at Theni dated 14.06.2025.

2.The petitioner has filed a claim petition in M.C.O.P.No.102 of 2024 on the file of the Chief Judicial Magistrate Court, Theni, as against the petitioner Insurance Company. The said case was referred to Lok Adalat. In the National Lok Adalat, the petitioner agreed for a settlement of Rs.75,000/- as a full quit. The petitioner also agreed to deposit the amount directly to the petitioner's account, failing which to pay interest for the delayed payment. Aggrieved by the same, the present Civil Revision Petition is filed. 3.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the trial Court has directed the petitioner Insurance Company to deposit the award amount to the claimant's account without following the Standard Operating Procedures. As per the Standard Operating Procedures, the Lok Adalat award amount has to be deposited either in the account maintained by the claimant or in the claim petition. However, in the present case, the Lok Adalat award was directed to pay directly to the claimant's account. But no account details were added in the 2/4

Lok Adalat award. Hence, the amount was unable to be deposited. Thereby, the present Civil Revision Petition is filed. 4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the respondent /claimant is directed to furnish the bank details to the petitioner within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Upon receipt of the same, the petitioner is directed to deposit the entire award amount within a period of one week therefrom. 5.With the above direction, this Civil Revision Petition is disposed of.
