Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the respondent Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli relating to District Order No.1484/2013, dated 07.11.2013 and quash the same and consequently, direct the respondent to allow the petitioner's family to continue in the official quarters at 23-C, Police Quarters, A.R.Line, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District till the end of the academic year ie., 30.04.2014.

ORDER

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is to quash the order passed by the Superintendent of Police, Tirunelveli District, dated 07.11.2013 and direct the respondent to allow the writ petitioner's family to continue in the official quarters, at 23-C, Police Quarters, A.R.Line, Palayamkottai, Tirunelveli District till the end of the academic year i.e., 30.04.2014.

2.The writ petitioner filed the present Writ Petition during the relevant point of time seeking permission to continue in the official quarters till the end of the academic year, in view of the fact that his children were studying in the school and he was transferred. However, the academic year ended on 30.04.2014.

3.The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner made a submission that the writ petitioner had already vacated the official quarters in January, 2014. 4.This being the factum, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
