The prayer in the writ petition is for a writ of mandamus to the fourth respondent to cancel the patta and other land records created by the respondents 6 to 8 and confirm the petitioner's right over the property.

The learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents produced a letter addressed to her by the Revenue Tahsildar, Ottapidaram, informing her that the patta has now been transferred in the name of the petitioner. 3.Considering the same, no further orders are required in this writ petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
