Mr.K.R.Kishore Ram for M/S.R.B.Law Associates learned counsel takes notice for the first respondent and Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the second respondent. 2.The writ petition has been filed challenging the impugned order bearing Na.Ka.No.H9/6687/2024 (Mai), dated 24.10.2024, passed by the first respondent and to direct the first respondent to replace name of Mrs.Asha instead of Mrs.C.Annalakshmi.
3.The petitioner ought to have impleaded the Tahsildar, within whose jurisdiction, the death certificate, dated 29.01.2024 was issued, after the petitioner's husband died on 14.01.2024.

4.It is noticed that in the death certificate issued under the provisions of the Registration of Births and Deaths Act, 1969, and the Rules made thereunder, the name of the wife has been given as Asha.
5.It is the specific case of the petitioner that the name of the said Asha has been wrongly incorporated as wife of the deceased Alagappan, the husband of the petitioner. It is further submitted that it is the petitioner along with her in-laws, who had performed the last rights of her deceased husband, Alagappan. 6.On the other hand, the learned counsel for the first respondent would submit that the application would have been filed by the said Asha, who appears to be the wife of the said Alagappan and that the petitioner should give the details and that the impugned communication has not decided the case one way or the other.
7.Considering the same, this Court suo motu impleads the Tahsildar, Trichy West, Trichy, as second respondent in this writ petition. Mr.D.Ghandiraj, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the second respondent. 3/6
8.The second respondent/the Tahsildar is directed to make an enquiry and thereafter, give the details as to whether the death certificate issued on 29.01.2024 requires any modification. Needless to state, before passing any further order, notice shall be issued to the said Asha, whose name has been referred to in the death certificate, dated 29.01.2024, as wife of late.Alagappan, who died on 14.01.2024. The entire exercise shall be completed within a period of 8 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 9.Since the petitioner is in Netherlands, the enquiry may be conducted through 'video conferencing' and also information, if any, may be elicited from the in-laws ie., the parents of late.Alagappan.
10.With the aforesaid directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
