This criminal original petition has been filed for quashing the impugned summon issued by the Sub Inspector of Police, Peraiyur police station. During the pendency of this petition, Crime No.16 of 2016 has been registered at the instance of the AWPS, Thirumangalam for the offences under Sections 417, 376, 506(i) IPC r/w.8(L)(XII) of the SC & ST Act. Therefore, nothing survives for adjudication in this criminal original petition. It stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
