Heard the learned counsel on either side.

2. This writ petition was filed way back in August 2015. We are now in March 2021. The petitioner has challenged the insistence of the first respondent that no vehicle should be registered, unless the Entry Tax is paid at the purchase point itself. No doubt the petitioner has a point to canvass. But then, he is not in a position to inform the Court as to what happened subsequently.

3. Therefore, I am of the view that nothing survives for further consideration. This writ petition stands dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
