The petitioner is a government employee. He is facing trial in C.C.No.318 of 2019 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Eraniel, for the offences under Sections 279, 304(A) and 338 of IPC. Seeking to expedite the trial, this criminal original petition has been filed.

2.The learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) on instructions, submitted that charges have been framed and the case is posted for trial on 28.01.2022. There are 12 list witnesses. 3.Taking note of overall facts and circumstances, the Court below is directed to conclude the trial on merits and in accordance with law on or before 01.05.2022.
