Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the constitution of India, seeking for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, to direct the respondents 1 & 2 particularly the second respondent to take appropriate legal action / investigation on the petitioner's complaint dated 14.07.2025 against the respondents 3 to 9 and ensure the protection of her life and limb. ORDER

The petitioner with a grievance that her complaint has not been enquired by the respondent Police has filed this petition seeking a direction to take action on his compliant dated 14.07.2025. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that since it is matrimonial dispute, the complaint of the petitioner has been referred to the Social Welfare Officer.

3.Recording the above submission, this writ petition is closed with a direction to the petitioner to appear before the Social Welfare Officer and co-operate for the enquiry. The respondent Police shall verify that all the private respondents are appearing before the Social Welfare Officer. In the event, if the complaint of the petitioner is closed by the respondent police, they shall furnish a copy of the closure report to the petitioner enabling her to workout her remedy in the manner known to law. No costs.
