ORDER

The petitioner is an accused in Crime No.421 of 2014 on the file of the first respondent. Cognizance came to be taken only in the year 2015.

2. More than six years have elapsed. The trial is yet to be commenced. Therefore, the petitioner has moved this Court for expediting the proceedings. No exception can be taken to the petitioner's request.

3. The trial Court is directed to conclude the case in C.C.No.72 of 2015 on merits and in accordance with law within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. I make it clear that I have not gone into the merits of the matter. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
