Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents 1 to 3 from interfering with the civil dispute in O.S.No.660/2007 on the file of District Munsif Court, Madurai in respect of the property comprised in Door No.13A, T.S.No.79, Vaigai Vadakarai, Madhichiyam, Madurai on the basis of the complaints lodged by the respondents 4 to 6. ORDER

The suit in O.S.No.660 of 2007 was pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Madurai. The said suit was with respect to property bearing Door No.13A, T.S.No.79, Vaigai Vadakarai, Madhichiyam, Madurai.

2.The Writ Petition was filed for a direction to the first, second and third respondents/The Commissioner of Police, Madurai and the Inspector of Police, Land Grabbing Cell, Madurai and Inspector of Police, Madhichiyam Police Station, Madurai, not to interfere with the said civil dispute.

W.P(MD)No.5696 of 2014 3.Heard, the learned Counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Shanmugavel, learned Additional Government Pleader, for the respondents 1 to 3. I can very confidently state that respondents 1 to 3 can never, in any manner interfere with any civil dispute which is now pending on the file of the District Munsif Court or in any Court in the State.

4.The Presiding officer will take a decision in accordance with the facts and evidence presented. I am also informed by the learned Additional Government Pleader that the suit itself had been dismissed. Nothing further survives for adjudication. 5.Therefore, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petition is also closed.
