Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent to initiate departmental action against the fourth respondent for the production of bogus certificate in the light of memo issued by the first respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.C2/18822/2013 dated 19.06.2013 and by considering the petitioner's representation dated 08.05.2013 within the period that may be stipulated by this Court. ORDER

The relief sought for in the present Writ Petition is for a direction to direct the third respondent to initiate departmental action against the fourth respondent for production of bogus certificate.

2.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3 made a submission that a criminal case was registered against the fourth respondent in Crime No.533 https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

of 1999 in Thuraiyur Police Station and subsequently, the criminal case was dropped against the fourth respondent and he was allowed to retire from service on 31.08.2018.

3.In view of the fact that actions were initiated based on the complaint given by the writ petitioner and subsequently, further action was dropped and the fourth respondent was allowed to retire from service, no further adjudication is required in the present Writ Petition. Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands closed. No costs.
