ORDER

The present writ petition has been filed seeking a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to conduct an enquiry based upon the representation given by the writ petitioner on 13.07.2015 in accordance with Circular No.67, dated 03.11.2011.

2. The learned Additional Government Pleader brought to the notice of the Court that the said circular has already been withdrawn by the Government and hence, the first respondent cannot have any jurisdiction to conduct any investigation based upon the said withdrawn circular. Hence, the prayer sought for in the writ petition cannot be grated.

3. However, the petitioner is at liberty to give fresh representation to the first respondent herein and if any such representation is made, the same shall be considered by the first respondent in the light of Section 77-A of the Registration Act.

4. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
