ORDER
This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the third and fourth respondents not to harass the petitioner under guise of enquiry without following due process of law based on the petitioner's representation dated 21.08.2024. 2.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner is a history sheeter in H.S.No.239 of 2023 and he is having seven previous cases. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that under the guise of verification of History Sheet, the Police from the third and fourth respondents Police Station used to visit the petitioner's home, even during mid-night and that they used to come and call the 2/5
petitioner and they have been harassing the petitioner continuously. When the said contention was refused by the prosecution, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has produced CD and the same was handed over to the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for verification. 4.After verification, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that the Police visited the petitioner's house only for verification.
5.Even for verification, they cannot visit and search his house at mid-nights very often. Considering the above, the respondents are directed not to harass the petitioner. Accordingly, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
