ORDER

The prayer in this Criminal Original Petition is for directing the respondents to secure the absconding accused. 2.I am afraid that this Court does not have the power to grant such a prayer. This position has been clarified by the Hon'ble Supreme Court as early as in the year 1967 in the case of Abhinandan Jha and others Vs. Dinesh Mishra reported in 1968 AIR 117.

3.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as not maintainable.
