ORDER

The petitioner herein seeks a direction to the second respondent to survey the properties situated in Survey Nos.145A/4 and 146B/9A in Kurunkulam West Village, Tanjore Taluk, Tanjore District, by considering his online application dated 07.07.2025. 2.Heard the arguments of Mr.S.Mohamed Kadhar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.M.Gangatharan, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent of

both sides, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, the subject property has been purchased by his mother under a sale deed dated 20.05.1971. As on today, the patta for the property stands in the name of the petitioner in Patta No. 339. He submitted an application on 07.07.2025 in Application No.2025/0123/21/009790, seeking survey of the subject property. The same has not been considered. Hence, the petitioner has come before this Court.

4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 4 would submit that the fifth respondent objected to the survey of the subject property. Therefore, the property has not been surveyed.

5. In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry, based on the application of the petitioner dated 07.07.2025, by issuing notice to the petitioner and the fifth respondent and pass final

orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
