This petition has been filed for a direction to the 2nd respondent Inspector of Police, Karaikudi south Police Station, Sivagangai District to give necessary police protection to the life of petitioner on the basis of his representation dated 28.06.2016.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents.

3. It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the proposed accused made an attempt to grab the properties of the petitioner and therefore, representation dated 28.06.2016 has been submitted to the respondents. Since the said representation has not been considered so far, the petitioner is before this Court with this petition.

4. In view of the above, 2nd respondent police is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

possible, preferably within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
