[Order of the Court was made by G.K.ILANTHIRAIYAN, J.] Seeking to suspend the sentence imposed on the petitioner by the Fast Track Mahila Court, Srivilluputhur , vide Judgment dated 28.03.2024 in S.C.No.87 of 2020, he has filed this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition.
2. Heard the learned counsel on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. The petitioner has failed to make out a prima facie case for grant of suspension of sentence since he has committed a very serious and heinous offence by murdering his own wife. Further the evidence of P.W.3 is also very clear that the petitioner herein has committed the offence, hence we are of the opinion that it is not a fit case for grant of suspension of sentence to the petitioner.
4. Accordingly this Criminal Miscellaneous Petition stands dismissed.
