ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.KARTHIKEYAN.C, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S.R.SURESH KUMAR, Government Advocate(Crl.side) for the Respondent, the court made the following order:- This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.M.P.(MD) No.2513 of 2023 on 07.08.2023, by the learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Pudukkottai.
2.Now the grievance of the petitioners is that the Alangudi Police Station is 60 Km away from the petitioner's village, so they are unable to comply the condition and they pray to modify the condition to the effect that to appear before the respondent Police instead of the Inspector of Police, Alangudi Police Station.
3. Considering the grievance that is expressed by the learned counsel for the petitioners, the condition in paragraph No.3 of the order dated 07.08.2023 in Crl.M.P. (MD) No.2513 of 2023 is modified. The petitioner shall appear and sign before the respondent Police daily at 10.30 a.m., until further orders. 2/3
4. In the result, this petition is allowed.
