PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the 2nd respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members on the basis of his representation dated 23.09.2019.

ORDER

This petition has been filed seeking direction to direct the 2nd respondent police to provide police protection to the petitioner and his family members on the basis of his representation dated 23.09.2019.

2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing the learned Government Advocate(Crl.Side) would submit that based on the complaint given by the defacto complainant petition enquiry was conducted and the same was closed as civil in nature

3. At this juncture, police protection cannot be granted. Hence this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. However, petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy before the civil court in the manner known to law.
