ORDER
This Writ Petition is filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent herein to consider the petitioner's representation dated 08.08.2015 and to conduct enquiry based on the First Information Report filed before the third respondent in Crime No.238 of 2015 for the suspicious death of petitioner's daughter by name Chinnaponnu.
2.It is stated that the petitioner's daughter by name Chinnaponnu was married to one Muthuraj who is also residing in the same village where the petitioner lives. The petitioner's daughter herself appears to have filed a complaint against the petitioner's son-in-law for dowry harassment. While so, the petitioner's https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD).No.15028 of 2015 daughter was found dead in a well near the house of the petitioner's son-in-law. A police case was also registered in Crime No.238 of 2015 under Section 174 of Cr.P.C. as the death was reported under suspicious circumstances. Later, based on the enquiry conducted by the Revenue Divisional Officer, the RDO also suggested that the death has been caused due to dowry harassment. It is reported that after completion of further investigation a charge sheet also has been filed showing three persons as accused including the husband of the deceased as Accused No.1. Since the law has taken its own course, it is not necessary for this Court to give any further direction. Hence, recording the facts, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs.
