This petition filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, praying this Court to direct the Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive Trial Cases under SC/ST(POA)Act,1989, Sivagangai to accept the surrender of the petitioner and consider the bail application to be filed by him on merits and on the day of surrender.

ORDER:- This Petition coming on for orders on this day and upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of Mr. K.Manivannan, Advocate for the Petitioner and of Mr. R.Meenakshi Sundaram, Additional Public Prosecutor for the 1st and 2nd respondents, this Court made the following order:

2. The learned Counsel for the Petitioner would submit that the Petitioner was under medical treatement hence he was unable to comply with the conditions.

Considering the submission of the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, the Petitioner is granted 15 days extra time from the date of receipt of a copy of this order to surrender before the learned Sessions Judge, Special Court for Exclusive trial of cases under SC/ST(POA) Act, 1989, Sivagangai. On such surrender, the learned Special Judge is directed to consider the same as per law.
