ORDER

This petition has been filed for quashing the impugned proceedings in S.T.C No.9 of 2016 on the file of the Fast Track Court at Magisterial Level, Thanjavur. It is true that an interim stay was granted on 23.10.2018 for a period of four weeks. The interim order does not appear to have been extended. The learned counsel appearing for the complainant would also point out that trial commenced in this case and that the case is posted for judgment. Therefore, no purpose will be served in keeping this quash petition pending. It is made clear that this Court has not gone into the merits of the matter. It is open to the parties to work out their rights in the manner known to law. This petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions stand closed.
