ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of the case in Crime No.157 of 2024 on the file of the second respondent to any other Inspector of Police attached to some other Police Station within his jurisdiction and monitor the investigation based on the representation of the petitioner.

2.The petitioner has levelled allegations as against the third respondent, then Inspector of Police, Krishnankovil Police Station. 3.The second respondent has filed status report by stating that they have appointed Mr.Mariyappan, Inspector of Police, Watrap Police Station, Virudhunagar District as Investigating Officer for the case in 2/5

Cr.No.157 of 2024, taking note of the allegations levelled as against the then Inspector of Police, Krishnankovil Police Station, Virudhunagar District.

4.Recording the same, the Inspector of Police, Watrap Police Station, Virudhunagar District is directed to proceed with the investigation and complete the same at an earliest date. The Deputy Superintendent of Police, Srivilliputhur Sub Division is directed to monitor the investigation of the case.

5.With the above directions, this criminal original petition is disposed of.
